Richard A. Rigney

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. -- Richard A. Rigney, 67, of Garden Grove, died Oct. 23, 2009, at Anaheim Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rigney was born Nov. 2, 1941, in Rome, Ga. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel; father, John; brother, Michael; and daughter, Alicia. He is survived by his wife, Johnette, daughters, Suzie Neal and Sharon Tell, sons, David and Rick, and four grandchildren, all of Garden Grove; and brothers, Ron, of Salina, Kan., and Patrick, of Chandler, Ariz.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove.
