YMCA celebrating Family Week

The Salina Family YMCA is celebrating National Family Week with a number of activities Sunday through Nov. 29.

YMCA membership is not required to participate. Adults will be asked to show identification, and youth ages 12 and younger will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Activities include:

n Free open swim, 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

n Open gyms and sportswall, Dance Dance Revolution, 5-7 p.m. Monday.

n Family game night in the teen center, 5-8 p.m. Tuesday; open swim, 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday.

n Decathlon-type events for all ages, 9-11 a.m. Wednesday.

n Open gyms and sportswall, 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.

n 22nd Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run, 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Bill Burke Park. Donation of $2 or canned food item for Salina Food Bank. Two-mile walk or three-mile run.

n Free open swim, 2-4:30 p.m. Friday.

n Family Football Fun and Games, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday.

n Free open swim, 2-4:30 p.m. Nov. 28.

n Free open swim, 2-4:30 p.m. Nov. 29.

n Family run-walk, 3-4 p.m. Nov. 29, YMCA river trails.
